What you have said doesn’t make much sense and that’s what makes this a very bizzare problem to troubleshoot. Ask a question and a7n8d support. If you are still unable to fix it with any ideas you may have gotten from this, it is probably going to require more specific help. What Bios do you have? That would be very surprising.
And i’m sure that if i’de turn up the volume with speakers connected, you would aucio the same thing. I only got sound during boot up from the motherboard saying something like post successful now booting into operating system.
I’ve noticed this card is very sensitive to high speed fans in its vicinity. But since it was fine before, the above probably doesn’t apply directly. Removed all other devices and fans. Gotta say though, besides this problem i think the motherboard is pretty good. No, create an account now.
You must log in or sign up to reply here. Noticed that whine changed pitch when clicking mouse or any other PC activity. If you want to use the front case outlets, the jumpers are removed and front panel leads are connected.

Your name or email address: Again, I don’t understand how a driver problem might affect only rear panel and not front panel, but updating your sound driver is recommended regardless. It wouldn’t be the first damaged audio jack I’ve seen.
